Anne's having a moment - and so are we...
Saturday 2 May — 6–7pm at 7West Cafe, Toronto (18+)
This Saturday, OBSCURAE's Cinephile Social Club launches in Toronto, and we're kicking things off with Anne Hathaway Week. With The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary both in theatres this upcoming weekend, there's no better moment to gather and have some spoiler-filled discussions!
Spots are limited on a first-come, first-served basis - and if you're already on our mailing list, our RSVP form won't work, so send us a line to secure a spot at team@obscurae.co.uk.
Hosting the evening is Frankie Mara — OBSCURAE contributor, IPA-certified Intimacy Coordinator, and PhD candidate in feminist and queer film analysis at York University. Frankie has been running film clubs for kids, teens, and adults for six years, and knows how to make a space that's warm, smart, and genuinely fun — whether it's your first film club or your hundredth.
Frankie is also certified in Mental Health First Aid and has extensive experience making spaces accessible to neurodivergent folks and people with disabilities. Any access needs? Reach out directly: @frankie.moonz on Instagram or @phdreamy on TikTok.
