Sometimes dislike is a serious critical tool. In this episode, Umnia uses Yorgos Lanthimos as a case study in how to back up a strong negative opinion with text, aesthetics, politics, and feeling — especially when beauty, cruelty, and provocation are presented without enough interrogation.

Prompt: Pick something you dislike and defend the opinion properly. What is the text doing? What does the form make beautiful? What does it ask the audience to excuse, enjoy, or ignore?
