The Playing Field

Opening this weekend is Toy Story 5, but our ear is to the ground on that one, and it's not looking great.

Also out this week, for the Sapphic Queer Teens and teens at heart is Lesbian Space Princess, a hilarious, whip-smart animated adventure that does what it says on the tin.

Still going strong β€” Obsession, Disclosure Day, The Mandalorian and Grogu, Masters of the Universe, Backrooms, and Scary Movie.

Lesbian Space Princess
The funniest and most heartwarming film of the year so far, and a must-watch for fans of Australian comedy, and Queer Sci-Fi Fantasy Quests!

Also opening this weekend is Leviticus, which Michel reviewed for us at SXSW and had nothing but good things to say about.

Still going strong β€” Obsession, Mortal Kombat II, Disclosure Day, The Mandalorian and Grogu, Masters of the Universe, The Furious, Backrooms, and Scary Movie.

Leviticus: It Looked Like Me | SXSW 2026
Leviticus is easily my favorite watch of the festival, creepy, cold, masterful in giving stigma a physical form and keeping you on your toes doing it. Anything could be a danger, at any time, when the line between wanton wet dream and certain death is thin as hell and hellishly dashed all over.
